Can your existing gutters be repaired?

A problem in one section does not automatically mean replacing the entire system. Tell us where water escapes, whether a section has pulled away and what happens during rain. CT Gutters offers cleaning, sealing, reinforcing, re-securing and realignment.

We discuss the condition of the system before recommending repair or replacement. Photos of the affected section, its connection to the fascia and the nearest downspout can help explain the issue. Take photos from a safe position on the ground.

What goes into a seamless gutter installation?

Our custom-length 5-inch K-style seamless gutters, also known as eavestroughs, collect roof runoff and connect to downspouts. The estimate should describe the gutter runs, corners, outlets and downspouts included in your project.

Check the fascia behind the gutters

The fascia board forms the roof edge behind the gutter. If it is soft, rotten or damaged, ask about board repair or replacement alongside the gutter work. Metal fascia wrap is a separate outer covering fitted over sound boards. See our fascia board and wrap services.

Think about where the water goes

Include any concerns about the current downspouts and outlets. Let us know where water collects and whether you want to change the arrangement. We can include downspout and connection work in the proposed scope.

What affects the cost of new gutters?

Two homes with similar roof lengths can need different amounts of work. A useful estimate accounts for:

• Footage and layout: the length of gutter runs, corners and outlets.
• Height and access: the areas our crew needs to reach and the space available around the home.
• Downspouts: the connections and drainage arrangement included in the work.
• Fascia condition: any board repairs, replacement or metal wrap.
• Optional work: gutter guards or snow guards, if they are part of your project.

Our gutter work carries a 3-year labour and material warranty; applicable manufacturer warranties have their own terms.
